Dietitians Act: Our Progress and What’s Ahead
05/14/2026
Welcome back to Dietitians Act: Legislation that Nourishes Change. In this edition, we’re bringing you up to speed on what the NBAD Legislation Committee has accomplished so far and the important work still ahead.
Progress in Motion
The path to updating the Act started back in 2011 when we first reached out to members for feedback on their practices. By 2016, the real work was underway—gathering input, reviewing processes, and envisioning the future of our profession.
This meaningful work has come to life thanks to our incredible members. Your membership fees and countless volunteer hours have provided the support we need to see this through.
